GM, Ford and the other automakers have been lying by telling us that the technology for all-electric, gas-free cars will not be available for another 25 or 30 years. The technology is already available. Honda has already produced such a car but work needs to be done to bring down the high cost, which can certainly be accomplished in the near future if a real effort is made.
